I spoke with Dr. VanMetre today, and he told me the club could be a good idea.
One of his main concerns was the large amount of Seniors in a club that would start towards the end of the school year.
He also forwarded the idea of outside readings and discussion.
In the end, the final verdict will have to come from Mrs. Fraser.
We do NEED more Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshman. If you take any classes in a classroom that is occupied by underclassmen at any time of day, please ask your teacher if it's alright to put an ad for the club on her board. Give any info you want, but be sure to link them to this blog (philosophyatbarbe.blogspot.com). Ads around school are also welcome. We need to publicize.
